Robotics For Kids

Grades 3-8
Mini Makers introduces kids in grades 1 and 2 to our core technology topics: Coding and Robotics. They will design their own video games, create robotic inventions, do design and experimentation, and more. In our Idea Incubator class, kids develop projects in coding, robotics, and Minecraft. The fun part about this program is that the classes rotate between these three topics. In our coding classes, kids learn to know to code their very own game and explore character development, storyboarding, animation, environment and level design, beta testing and, of course, coding. In our Minecraft classes, we use the incredibly popular game Minecraft (now a mandatory school subject in parts of Europe) as a medium to help kids build transferable skills such as coding, electronics, 3D design, servers, and more. In our robotics classes, kids use online robotics simulator technology to learn how to make electronic creations to wire up circuits, make virtual lights light up, and so much more.
