Activity Provider: Programs such as summer camps, after-school programs

Want maker activities for kids at your school, library, event, or organization? For schools, we do after-school programs, lunchtime programs, workshops, curriculum-based programs, and more. We also do programs at events, such as rocket launching at Fort York, 3D design at the Harbourfront Centre, 3D printing at the Textile Museum of Canada, toy hacking and robot battles at Maker Faire Toronto, robot battles at Maker Faire Rome, rocket launching at schools, and more. Information Services

Looking for something you don’t see on this list? Want a training for your group? Want to host a party for your family? Take a private lesson? Have us teach something to your group remotely? Educator Training We offer professional development, consulting and speaking, with past clients including the Toronto Public Library. We can help you learn how to teach maker activities to kids (e.g. 3D printing, Arduino, robotics, and more), how to set up a makerspace for kids, what supplies to buy, and more. We also have spoken at various conferences and events such as Maker Faire Rome, Maker Faire Toronto, the Creative Making Conference at the University of Toronto, Make2Learn in Chicago, and more. Educational Products We sell robotics kits that we have created! Email us if you are interested. Development of Educational Curriculum

We develop curriculum and products, and are currently doing so for Intel, 3D Systems, and the Toronto Public Library. Email us at [email protected] for more information.

Franchising We envision a future where there are chapters of MakerKids all over the world. If you are interested in franchising, please email us.

Instructor Licensing and Certification We can license teachers so that they are MakerKids-certified to teach topics like Arduino, 3D printing, etc. Email us if interested.
