As a part of Maker Festival’s Month of Making, we will host, not one, but TWO open houses. We will be opening our doors to the public to explore our MakerSpace.Tour our MakerSpace, Inspiration Station and learn about MakerKids. We will also have a free class from 1-2pm (first come first serve), contests and hands-on activities.
MakerKids is provides programmes on Videogame Programming, Minecraft, Robotics and Electronics.Most importantly, we empower the leaders of tomorrow with the skills and mindsets to change the world. We hope by visiting MakerKids, we will inspire kids to build the future.
Everyone is welcome to the open house, however workshops are designed for kids 8-12 only.
Dates:
June 18, 12:30-2pm
Minecraft Workshop at 1pm (max. 15 kids)
June 25, 12:30-2pm
Robotics Inventions Workshop at 1pm (max. 15 kids)
