Maker Family Day: “Making Together”

It’s Maker Family Day at MakerKids! The theme is “Making Together”, making things with your family, for your family or for your neighbours that you consider family!
Topics:
– Wood & Glass
– Bread Making!
– Electronics: LEDs and Sound modules
– Minecraft at lunch: Kids vs. Adults
Examples of Possible Activities:
- make a high tech photo frame with LEDs
- create a magnet board – family message board (sound recording!)
- build a dollhouse or castle and film stop motion
- Woodworking! Create a memory box to store special memories
- lunchtime Minecraft challenge in the Spleef arena: Kids vs. Adults!
- experiment with Printcraft
- decorate, motorize, makerize your favourite art projects
- stained glass mosaics & tile putty
- use the glass to make a candle jar holder, potholder or more.
- learn a bread recipe together and bake yummy bread!
- other maker activities
