Register for Weekly Programs: This class is for makers who love video games and Lego! On a rotating schedule, each week will switch between Minecraft and Lego robotics, 2 popular and familiar platforms many little ones love. Students will learn important fundamental computer skills, introductory coding and circuitry by using Minecraft’s in game command system and Redstone. Additionally, students will learn basic coding and mechanical engineering concepts through the use of LEGO Education’s SPIKE Robotics kits. Students will build and modify their robots to achieve a particular task and then code them in a Scratch based block coding system to bring their robots to life!<\/p>\n<\/div> Grades 1-2<\/strong><\/p>\n Focuses on foundational computer and robotics skills, no experience needed.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div> 1 hour program for makers in grades 1 and 2.
