June 6th PA Day

Grade 1-2: Mini Makers

Mini Makers introduces kids to our core technology topics: Coding, Robotics, and Minecraft. Your child will get to work on a variety of projects each day in small groups. They will design their own video game, create robotic inventions, explore the 3D design world of Minecraft, and do STEM experimentation. Each day your child will build on the skills they’ve learned, leaving with transferable technical and social skills. The daily cross-discipline exposure focuses on valuable skills and allows kids to see progress as their abilities grow.

Breaks, games and park time are also included for kids to exercise their imagination, have fun and strengthen team-building

Grades 3-8:  Robotics Inventor & 3D Printing

Design the world around you! In our Robotics programs, kids design, plan, program, and build electronic inventions while using a robotics microcontroller and learning how to code. Kids better understand how everyday objects around them work and have the opportunity to bring their ideas to life. Kids make creations that they previously only dreamed of. Make lights light up, motors spin, and code a ‘robot brain’ to make something awesome.

Kids learn how 3D printing can be used in the design of their creations and model their own creations to 3D print on site! Kids make creations that they previously only dreamed of. Kids see the results of their code before their eyes. They realize that they can make things that others can use.

At the end of the week students get to take home a 3D printed creation! (Non Electronic creation. NO Electronics included.)

Breaks, games and park time are also included for kids to exercise their imagination, have fun and strengthen team-building

Specialty Bootcamps

MakerKids Bootcamps are half-day weekend programs designed for kids ready to dive deeper into advanced STEM topics. Unlike our weekly programs, Bootcamps offer intensive, fast-paced learning experiences that explore platforms like Python, Unreal Engine, and Minecraft Modding. Each session builds on the last, becoming progressively more advanced throughout the semester.

Bootcamps for each topic are offered 1–2 times per month, and students can register for one session at a time—no need to commit to a full series upfront. This flexible format allows families to customize their schedule and pace.

Summer Camps

Join us this summer for 10 unique weeks of STEM fun! Keep your Makers brain learning and engaged throughout the summer by joining one of our fun and educational camps. With SEVEN unique topics to choose from, there’s something for every child!

Camps run from 9am to 3:30pm, with before care starting at 8pm and after care ending at 5pm. Parents are welcome to arrive 10 minutes before the end of the camp day to check out what their Maker did that day!

NEW! Maker Maverick Advanced afternoon camps for grades 6-8+!

Do you have an older Maker who is looking for more of a challenge? From July 7-11 and 14-18 We’re offering NEW advanced evening camps from 4-6pm tailored specifically for older students. Class sizes are kept small so space is limited, book now!

MakerKids allows students to register for camps when they are going into an eligible grade in the fall. We recommend that students be learning at grade level to ensure they have the best experience

Our Grade 1-2 & 3-8 camps are suitable for students with no prior technical experience, however if you are enrolling your child based on the grade they are entering this fall, previous experience with technology and computers is beneficial.

SK Going into Grade 1: SK students going into grade 1 in the fall are eligible for Grade 1-2 level camps. Students do not need prior computer or coding experience for these camps.

Grade 2 going into Grade 3: Grade 2 students going into grade 3 are eligible for grade 3-8 level camps. To give them the best experience, computer experience and basic reading and spelling ability is recommended. We suggest kids try our Grade 1-2 camp if they are new to using a computer.  Students do not need prior coding experience for these camps.

Grade 4 going into Grade 5: Grade 4 students going into grade 5 do not need prior experience with the camp topic (ie, modding/UE) to register for these camps, however, past technical experience is required as these camps are considered advanced. If your child has little/no prior experience with technology, we strongly recommend grade 3-8 level camps as they are more suitable for learning foundational technology skills.

Week 4: July 14-18
